Copper amine oxidase, domains 1 and 2 Add an annotation

Copper amine oxidase (CuAO) are comprised of three of four domains. In the case of the four domain CuAO, the N-terminal domain (termed N1, and is not present in the three domain CuAO) and the C-terminal catalytic domain sandwich two repeated domains (termed N2 and N3). The function of these two homologous domains is uncertain. N2 and N3 both have a cystatin-like fold [1].

This clan contains 3 families and the total number of domains in the clan is 5863. The clan was built by RD Finn.

For those sequences which have a structure in the Protein DataBank, we use the mapping between UniProt, PDB and Pfam coordinate systems from the MSD group, to allow us to map Pfam domains onto UniProt three-dimensional structures. The table below shows the mapping between the Pfam families in this clan, the corresponding UniProt entries, and the region of the three-dimensional structures that are available for that sequence.
